Bringing History Back to Life 💈

At Quest Interiors, we believe that being part of a community means more than just doing business—it means helping to preserve the stories and history that make our local area so special. We were recently honored to partner with the Scandinavia Historical Society on a very unique project: the restoration of a 1920s-style barbershop.
Quest Interiors helps out local Historical Society
Carl Evenson from the Historical Society reached out to us with a vision to recreate a century-old barbershop for their Historic Village. To help bring this authentic piece of history to life, Quest Interiors donated two custom-made “Monument White” stone shelves
These helves were specifically crafted to fit the historical aesthetic, featuring:
Precision Dimensions: One 48-inch and one 36-inch shelf, both 10 inches deep to accommodate authentic barber tools.
Hand-Finished Details: Each shelf was polished on three sides with safety-rounded corners to ensure they look as beautiful as they are functional.

A Community Effort
These shelves will do more than just sit on a wall. This August, during the annual Scandinavia Corn Roast, volunteer barber Adam Johnson will use this space to provide “donation” haircuts to visitors. We are so proud that our craftsmanship will play a small part in supporting such a wonderful community tradition.
A huge thank you to Mike Petersen, Sara Blansette, and our fabrication team for their hard work on this “goodwill offering”. We love seeing our materials help build—and restore—the heart of Wisconsin!
